Vasyl Lomachenko defeats Guillermo Rigondeaux for the WBO world super-featherweight title

Vasyl Lomachenko held on to his WBO world super-featherweight title
Lomachenko, Ukrainian, went against Guillermo Rigondeaux, who retired before round seven with a hand injury.
The much anticipated bout at New York’s Madison Square Garden was the first time two double Olympic champions have faced off.
Rigondeaux, Cuban, won the Olympic gold at Sydney and Athens, and holds the WBA super-bantamweight crown.
With this win, Lomachenko, extended his record to 10-1.
