US have ‘upper hand’ in Libya, former official says
Former member of Libya’s High Council of State (HCS), Muhammad Mazab, said the US will have the upper hand this time to resolve Libya’s political crisis and hold delayed elections, having participated in the management of the political scene behind the scenes.
Mazab made statements to the local media explained that the American approach will involve elections in two stages, provided that the current authorities stay in the first stage, both presidential and executive and the presidency will be accompanied by the new parliament until the presidential elections are completed by the end of next year.
