UN envoy to Libya in Rome on Saturday
Italian Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano, will meet with UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame in Rome on Saturday, according to an announcement made by the Italian foreign ministry.
This comes following Salame’s current tour around Libyan cities, where he stated that “even if no agreement is reached on the executive branch, elections will be held in 2018”.
The UN envoy to Libya visited Tripoli, Misurata and Benghazi.
