UN delegate to Libya visits Haftar near Benghazi
The Head of the UNSMIL Ghassan Salame has met with the commander of the self-styled army in eastern Libya Khalifa Haftar in Al-Rajma – near Benghazi – to discuss the current situation in Libya.
The media office of the general command in Al-Rajma said Salame and Haftar reviewed the developments on the political and military scene in Libya and the upcoming Multaqa Watani (National Conference).
This is the second meeting between Haftar and Salame since February 2019.
