UK ambassador to Libya meets with the chairman of the National Oil Corporation
The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) Mustafa Sanallah met with the British ambassador to Libya Peter Millett, on Tuesday, in Tripoli.
The meeting discussed the prospects of joint cooperation between the two countries in the oil field and the means needed to promote and develop such cooperation.
The British ambassador stressed the desire of British companies ” to contribute to the implementation of maintenance projects in the oil sector and to raise production capacity,” according to a statement published on the NOC website.
Millett invited the National Oil Corporation to coordinate a meeting between affiliated companies with the NOC and British companies working in the field of oil next year in Aberdeen, Scotland.
