Turkish Enka firm in last stages of Ubari gas power plant
A delegation from the Turkish firm, Enka, responsible for building and operating the Ubari gas power plant in southern Libya arrived in Ubari to do tests on the operation and finishing up stages of the workers in the field.
The delegation will be responsible for monitoring the last stages of the gas power plant and the operation tests.
According to local sources and sources from General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), the Ubari gas power plant is supposed to be operating as part of the general power network in August.
This new vent will help reduce pressure on the general power network and also reduce the hours of outages.
