Turkey has got Libya’s GNA back, Erdogan tells Al-Sarraj
The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan reiterated his support for Libya’s UN-recognized Government of National Accord (GNA) on Friday, according to Turkish presidential sources.
Erdoğan met with the Head of Libya’s Government of National Accord (GNA), Fayez Al-Sarraj, at Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul and discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Libya.
The Turkish President also said that he supported A for peace and stability in Libya.
Erdogan also called for an end to attacks by “the illegal militia loyal to Libyan commander Khalifa Haftar.”
Haftar’s war on Tripoli has killed over 1000 abs injured over 5000, including dozens of migrants, while forcing about 100.000 people out of their houses.
