Tripoli holds International Forum for Small and Medium Enterprises
A press release issued by Libya’s Deputy Prime Minister Ibrahim Abu Jinnah’s media office, translated by Libyan Express, indicated the presence of the Minister of Economy and Trade in the Government of National Unity, Muhammad Al-Hawij, and the head of the Libyan General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Mohamed Raeid, at the opening ceremony in the Sports City in Tripoli.
Abu Jinnah stressed that the participation of the national unity government as a strategic partner for the forum comes in order to contribute to providing the best services and offers, participating in workshops and groups concerned with various fields, and adopting creative ideas.
According to the statement, the participation aims to interact directly with the public and acquaint the citisen with local industries, projects carried out by small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and other related services, while Abu Jinnah expressed his pride in the work of private sector companies for their relentless pursuit to provide services.
Abu Jinnah added that these companies are working to deliver their services to the whole of Libya, even in the darkest conditions that the country has experienced, stressing that they strive to bring global expertise and transfer knowledge to sectors for the purpose of improving services, providing the best, rejecting unemployment and creating job opportunities for young people.
