Tripoli-based CBL receives 150 million dinars printed in Britain

A shipment of LYD150 million arrived on Wednesday at the Tripoli Mitiga airport coming from Britain.

The cargo of new-printed banknotes was received by representatives of the Tripoli-based Central Bank of Libya (CBL).

This is a new sum of money that arrives as part of the banknotes printing agreement between Libya’s CBL and Britain.

Meanwhile, Libyans are stilling standing in queues in front of banks every day trying to withdraw their salaries or their deposits to handle the current high prices of goods and basic commodities in the country.
