Strict security measures taken in Benghazi to protect banks as new banknotes arrive
A source from Benghazi said strict security measures have been taken in Benghazi as part of a plan to protect the city’s banks.
The source added Wednesday that many units from the police, central backup forces, and criminal investigation forces are securing the banks.
This comes ahead if the distribution of the banknotes, printed in Russia, by the Bayda-based CBL to the banks in the eastern region.
