Sabrata traditional equestrian festival kicks off
On Friday, the National Peace Festival for Traditional Equestrianism (Horseback Riding) kicked off at the Libyan Knight School in Sabratha with the participants coming from western mountain districts, Tripoli, central region, and other districts along with poets from different Libyan cities.
The festival was held by the Libyan Knight School in Sabratha under the auspices of Comnix International Organisation along with Sabratha Municipality.
“The National Peace Festival aims to bring all Libyans together and help them renounce division.” The Organisers told the press.
The festival is supposed to end on Saturday with horseback riding shows and contests as well as poetry recitation on the stage of the ancient Sabratha theater.
