Russian oil company to resume work in Libya after “evaluating security”
Abulqasem Shengir, a member of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) for exploration and production, held a meeting on Sunday with the director of the Russian oil company Tatneft in Libya, Rafael Yabarov, to discuss the final steps toward the return of the company’s activity in Libya.
The NOC official website said The company decided to resume work in Libya “after evaluating the security aspect and the readiness of many service providers contracted to offer the required services”
The Russian company expressed desire to expand cooperation with the National Oil Corporation in many fields such as development and raising production rates.
