Russian Foreign Ministry warns of real threat to ISIL in all parts of Libya

ISIL terrorists have been largely stationed in Libya in recent times, and are strengthening ties with al-Qaeda, the Russian Foreign ministry said on Tuesday. [Reuters]
 

“In Libya, including Tripoli, ISIL is increasing its activities, exploiting the collapse of the government and dividing the country, and is strengthening relations with al-Qaeda, which is located near the oil crescent and oil ports, along the Mediterranean coast, east, and Derna city in The South “.

It also noted that the situation in the south of the country is complicated by the infiltration of the Libyan border by extremists from Chad.

The Russian foreign ministry warned that ISIL terrorists had begun to arrive in Afghanistan under circumstances ,described as ambiguous.

This came in remarks by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov at the Conference “Middle East: A new stage, old problems.”
