Rayaina oil pipeline reopened in western Libya
The Patrols Brigade of the Petroleum Facilities Guard that is closing the Rayaina oil pipeline in Rayaina town near Zintan city in western Libya said it had reopened the pipeline after shutting it for over 2 years.
The brigade said that the reopening of the closed pipeline came on Wednesday after they received orders by the Armed Forces Operations Room in the west, which is an affiliate to the Dignity Operation led by Khalifa Haftar.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Brigade called on the National Oil Corporation to start pumping oil through the pipeline, confirming that the Petroleum Facilities Guard will be totally responsible for securing this state property.
Rayaina pipeline pumps oil to Al-Sharara and Al-Feel oil fields in western Libya.
