Qatar’s Al-Jazeera TV mocks Saudi King to spark rift

The Qatari popular TV channel, Al-Jazeera, has been under fire on Twitter by Saudi nationals and other Gulf and Arab nationals over a caricature mocking Saudi Arabia’s King, Salman Ben Abdel Aziz along with Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, Egypt’s Presidents.

The caricature has been posted on Al-Jazeera TV Twitter and after the hashtag “Al-Jazeera is insulting Saudi King” was top in the gulf and Saudi Arabia, Al-Jazeera deleted the caricature.

This new crack in relations between Qatar and Saudi Arabia comes days after Qatar published severance of ties and dismissal of Saudi and UAE diplomats news on the official news agency before it announced the news was fake and the agency website had been hacked.
