Pressure by France, UAE to release Libyan businessman Al-Usta
Pressure has been exerted by the French and UAE ambassadors on the Tripoli Revolutionaries Brigade to free businessman Jumua Al-Usta after he was detained last Monday for being a part of a plot to destabilize Tripoli.
Hashim Besher, a member of the Tripoli Revolutionaries Brigade, told a close source to Al-Usta that they will free him soon as they had been subjected to massive pressure.
Meanwhile, sources reported that a UAE-loyal Moroccan envoy arrived in Tripoli on Thursday to coax Haithe Al-Tajouri, the commander of the briagde, to free Al-Usta.
Al-Usta was detained with a sum of money, which he confessed he took it fro the UAE.
