Presidential Council member, Mitig, in Algeria over Libyan affairs
The Deputy President of the UN-backed Presidential Council, Ahmed Mitig, paid a formal visit to Algeria and met the Minister of Maghreb and African Affairs, Abdelkader Emssaehel . They both discussed the relationship between the two countries and how to establish security and stability in Libya.
Speaking in a presser following the meeting, Mitig , greeted Algeria for its supportive role in the dialogue between Libyans, and for its back up of the dialogue results – the Presidential Council and the accord government.
” Minister Emssehel reiterated President Boutafliqa’s support along with the Algerian authorities for resolving the Libyan crisis peacefully.”
