Presidential Council forms national reconciliation committee
The Presidential Council of the UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) has issued an ordinance to form a committee tasked with “National Reconciliation Project” across the country.
The committee will be formed of 15 members to be chosen on their work ethics and detachment from prejudices and other unprofessional tendencies.
“The committee will have to hold meetings with all Libyan parties across the country and found a comprehensive reconciliation project that is inclusive of all parties and social components in Libya.” The PC said in the ordinance.
The committee will be working for four full months that are subject to two more additional months if needed, the PC added.
