Presidential Council convenes meeting to address security concerns
The Presidential Council, acting as the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, has held a high-level meeting on Sunday to address pressing security and military challenges facing the nation.
Key attendees included Prime Minister and Defence Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, the Defence Ministry Undersecretary, and Lieutenant-General Mohammed Al-Haddad, Chief of the General Staff.
During the proceedings, Lieutenant-General Al-Haddad provided a comprehensive briefing to the council, detailing the current state of the military regions and outlining the measures being implemented to enhance their operational efficiency.
According to the Presidential Media Office, the meeting, which took place at the Supreme Commander’s headquarters, highlighted the council’s unwavering commitment to addressing obstacles hindering the military institution. These efforts underscore the broader goal of ensuring stability and preserving Libya’s unity and sovereignty.
