Petroleum Facilities Guard reaches deal with protesters to reopen Al-Sharara oil field

The Chief of the Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG) Brigadier General Idriss Abu Khamada said he had reached a deal with the protesters who are shutting down the pipelines that pump oil into Al-Sharara oilfield.

He said on Monday that the deal will see the oil field reopened after the damaging closure that caused Libya quite a big loss.

According to the PFG’s media office, the PFG will always work for the interest of the country and the country and the citizens.
