Night airstrikes by Haftar’s forces on Tripoli cause civilian casualties
According to reports, the strikes were carried by UAE-provided Chinese drones.
An airstrike by Khalifa Haftar’s forces hit civilian houses in Tajoura district in eastern Tripoli in the early hours of Monday.
The strike hit a residential area in Ghout Al-Rumman and its shrapnel injured a woman and two kids, among other civilians, let alone the damage caused to the houses.
Photos and footage were shared on social media showing two kids and the woman being treated by doctors at the hospital after the attack.
This was another night of air attacks by Haftar’s forces on Tripoli residents in the name of fighting terrorism.
Haftar is scheduled to visit France on Wednesday and meet with President Emmanuel Macron just like the Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sirraj did last week, which shows how the French are main players in the war on Tripoli.
