New update to make Snapchat posts last up to 60 seconds
Snapchat is set to change its features considerably by allowing users to record a 60-second clip, technically anyway, according to new reports.
The longer snaps will be made possible by using the Multi-Snap recording feature which could potentially have a big impact on the experience of using the app.
The new feature allows a user to hold down a record button to capture a snap instead of having to repeatedly tap and hold, which means you can record and post up to six 10 second clips at a time.
Each clip can be decorated and individually deleted but otherwise will be posted in chronological order.
This means that you can get away with a 60-second post spread out over the six 10-second clips.
The Multi-Snap update will come to iOS first and then be rolled out on Android later.
It is being launched alongside another new feature, called TintBrush that will appear on IOs and Android straight away, which allows users to colour part of your Snap by highlighting an area with your finger and then and selecting a new colour.
