National Salvation Government FM: We will shut borders with Tunisia
In a press conference Tuesday, the Salvation Government’s Foreign Minister, Ali Abuzakouk, spoke out threats against Tunisia upon its decision to continue to disallow Libyan flights to land in Carthage airport in Tunis.
FM Abuzakouk said that Tunisia’s justification for this policy is not accepted as the terrorists come from Tunisia to carry out deadly attacks in Libya, not vise versa.
He also pointed out that such a prevention for the Libyan flights burdens Libyan patients who keep traveling to Tunisia for health care, and therefore are obliged to land in Sfax airport then go to Tunis.
