National Oil Corporation conducts one of the largest environmental studies in the history of Libya

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has completed one of the largest environmental studies in the history of Libya.
The scientific study focused on the oil sites and the area surrounding the cities of Ajghra, Jalu and Ojla.
The National Oil Corporation has set up two committees to assess the environmental impact of the oil activity in these locations.
Carried out by teams of experts in environmental sciences, the process of collecting samples and conducting experiments lasted nine months, resulting in findings and recommendations proposed by the committees to the NOC.
The chairman of the NOC, Mustafa Sanallah directed the committees and the specialized departments of the corporation “to expedite the implementation of the recommendations that were projected,” according to a statement published on the NOC website.
