Muslim Brotherhood Group lashes out at Libya’s Mufti Al-Gharyani
The Muslim Brotherhood Group’s Political Party, Justice and Construction, has lashed out at the Libyan Mufti Al-Sadiq Al-Gharyani, rejecting his accusations that everyone who signed the Libyan Political Agreement (LPA) in Morocco is “non-believer”, saying the mufti’s words are irresponsible.
It also added that the mufti’s statement about the pro-LPA figures and parties are an invitation to “shed the blood” of the figures who take the LPA’s side and the side of the Government of National Accord, according to the statement issued by the party on Saturday.
“Sheikh Al-Gharyani wants to use religious fatwa to pass political agenda and gain political ground.” The party said.
It added that the LPA and the GNA are the needed solution for the Libyans to reconcile and put the military conflicts behind them to move on with a state of all Libyans.
