Misurata security forces kill one IS wanted fugitive, arrest 13 others
Misurata security department forces arrested on Wednesday 13 individuals accused of being part of IS terror group.
According to local sources from the city, the arrest came after an exchange of fire that lasted for three hours at Sakat ST. near Sooq Al-Tawansa in the city.
The operation led to the killing of one of the arrested persons and the injury of two security personnel.
IS claimed an attack on last Wednesday on the courts compound in Misurata, killing four people and injuring 41 others, according to the city’s security department.
