Misurata Blood Bank registered 1170 donations last January
The Head of the Misurata Blood Bank, Mukhtar Al-Gaed, said the bank received in last January about 1170 blood donors and gave away about 1197 blood units.
Al-Gaed added on Tuesday that the blood units that were distributed were divided into 818 full blood bags, 194 blood cells, 103 platelets and 82 plasma cells.
He also added that the umber of hospitals (from Misurata, Zliten and Tripoli) that dealt with the Blood Bank in Misurata reached 19 in last January alone.
