Libya’s education ministry gears up for next phase of “schools of the future”
Libya’s Ministry of Education is making strides towards the next phase of its “Schools of the Future” initiative. A recent meeting led by Education Minister Moussa Al-Maqrif focused on key procedures for the project’s expansion.
During the meeting, officials reviewed the distribution of educational institutions targeted for the second phase. The data, gathered from 133 education offices across Libya, aligns with standards set by the Educational Facilities Authority.
In a significant move, Al-Maqrif directed that kindergartens be included in the second phase, furthering the ministry’s goal of incorporating early childhood education into the formal school system.
This development highlights Libya’s commitment to modernising its education infrastructure and expanding access to quality learning opportunities for all ages.
