Libyan referee earns international kickboxing licence
Libyan referee Majdi Al-Shtewi has obtained his international licence to officiate mat-style kickboxing matches after successfully completing the required examinations on the sidelines of the African Kickboxing Championship currently underway in South Africa.
With this achievement, Al-Shtewi becomes the second Libyan referee to earn the international badge, following Ahmed Al-Sani, who obtained his certification years ago. Al-Sani has since established himself as a regular official at major continental and international kickboxing championships.
The qualification was awarded after Al-Shtewi passed the mandatory tests for the international badge during the ongoing continental championship.
