Libyan Prime Minister and LNCHR discuss improving human rights status in Libya
The Head of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord (GNA) Fayez Al-Serraj, has discussed the issues related to human rights and humanitarian affairs as well as public freedoms in Libya with the Head of the Libyan National Commission for Human Rights (LNCHR) Ahmed Hamza.
In the meeting that was held in Tripoli on Saturday, Al-
Serraj expressed his commitment to improving the status of human rights and humanitarian issues in Libya and said he would make sure that his government proceeds with the national reconciliation process.
“We are committed to supporting all the efforts of all parties in Libya as long as they aim at ending the violations of human rights in the country.” Al-Serraj indicated.
He added that the Presidential Council of the GNA will work with all parties to restore peace, stability and security into Libya.
