Libyan National Commission for Human Rights: Captives execution in Benghazi resembles IS crimes
The Libyan National Commission for Human Rights (LNCHR) has denounced the executions carried out illegally by the commander of the Sayeqa Special Forces of Operation Dignity, Mahmoud Al-Wirfalli.
In a statement on Tuesday, the LNCHR said the atrocious crimes that appeared in a video for Al-Wirfalli killing three prisoners as they are tied to the wall is a crime that resembles the crimes of IS terrorists.
The LNCHR also condemned the violations to the Humanitarian International Laws and Geneva Conventions that were done by the Operation Dignity forces of Khalifa Haftar in Benghazi amid the silence of the House of Representatives and the Transitional Government of Abdullah Al-Thinni.
“There should be an investigation into this crime done by Haftar’s forces at the Benghazi Appeals Court and the Attorney General Office as well as the Justice Commssion of the HoR.” The LNCHR indicated.
