Libyan health minister meets Iraqi president in Baghdad

Libya’s Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Ramadan Abu Janah met with Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid in Baghdad during the 61st session of the Council of Arab Health Ministers.

The officials discussed strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in healthcare, and addressed regional health and humanitarian challenges.

President Rashid conveyed greetings to Libya’s Presidential Council head Mohammed Menfi and his deputies, praising their efforts toward national consensus. He also acknowledged Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah’s work on development and stability.

Abu Janah emphasised Libya’s commitment to enhancing joint cooperation and supporting Arab health systems development. The meeting forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Arab partnership in health and humanitarian sectors.
