Libyan Football League is expected to commence on 19 October
Media sources reported on Tuesday that the Libyan Football Federation (LFF) set October 19, for the start of the Libyan Football League in its 47th edition, instead of the previous date that was scheduled, which is October 5.
Setting the new date came after the meeting of the President of the LFF, Abdul Hakim Al-Shalmani with the Director of the Competitions Organizing Committee, Suleiman Al-Shahoumi.
Al-Shahoumi also set October 12 as the date for holding the quarter-finals of the Libya Cup competition, with the exception of (Al-AlKhdar) team and (Al-Ahly Tripoli) team because of their participations in the African competitions.
So far, no clarification has been issued by the media office of the LFF, while the same sources confirmed the approval of the LFF for the gradual return of the fans to the stadiums by 3000 fans per match.
