Libyan Football Federation: Libyan Football League to kick off August 18
The Libyan Football Federation (LFF) has set up August 18 as the date to kick off the Libyan Football League.
The Secretary-General of the LFF, Abdel Naser Al-Swayi, told Kooora.com that this decision was taken on Tuesday in a meeting in Tripoli.
He also added that the league will include four groups, each of which will contain 7 teams – the first of each group will qualify for the finals, which will be played in first and second leg matches routine.
LFF failed to launch the Libyan Football League for 20016-20017 season last April due to not receiving financial support for the clubs, which conditioned playing in the league to having the funding. The season was then cancelled.
