Libyan ambassador to Italy imprisoned for unlawful gains
The Libyan prosecution has announced the detention of the Libyan ambassador to Italy, Omar Altarhouni, who was suspended from his work, for “violation of benefits for the provision of medical services” to Libyans who are sent to receive treatment in Italian hospitals.
The Public Prosecutor declared in a statement on its Facebook page that the prosecution examined the facts, which were included in the complaints brought by the families of the children sent to the Italian hospitals to some members of the mission in Italy.
