Travel & Tour World magazine reports that more than 100,000 tourists visit Libya annually despite the country’s ongoing political instability.

The publication indicates that this tourist presence reflects potential signs of hope for stability in the region and demonstrates Libya’s continuing appeal as a destination.

According to the report, some travellers choose to visit Libya despite formal travel advisories from their governments warning of terrorism risks, civil unrest, and broader security concerns. These tourists reportedly implement necessary precautions during their stays.

The tourism figures come as Libya continues efforts to develop its tourism sector following a period of significant conflict.
