Libya oil production soars to 800.000 bpd, NOC says
The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) Mustafa Sanallah said Wednesday that Libya’s oil production has hit 796.000 barrels per day and only 4000 more barrels will raise the output to the targeted 800.000 bpd for May 2017.
Sanallah added that the Libyan NOC is going to keep on raising the country’s oil production to the levels that are targeted by the NOC and all Libyans.
“Such efforts will need a budget and more investments in the oil industry, which is the only revenue for the country.” Sanallah indicated.
He also said that the NOC hopes that this new hike in the oil production rates will help alleviate the suffering of the Libyan citizens in their daily lives’ needs.
