LFF cancels this season’s National Football League over financial shortage
The Libyan Football Federation (LFF) has cancelled the National Football League for this season (2016-2017) citing acute shortages of financial support for the sports club, which will play in the league.
According to the LFF official website, this season will be cancelled and on next August 10th, the Libyan National Football League for the next season (2017-2018) will kick off.
This controversial step is unprecedented in Libya’s sports history and will definitely lead to weakening the Libyan football divisions.
