Kobler: UN ready to provide essential support for handing over power in Libya
The UN day delegate to Libya, Martin Kobler, has confirmed that the UN is ready to provide Libya with the necessary support for achieving the power handover to the Government of National Accord.
Kobler told the French News Agency during his visit to Tripoli Tuesday that he encourages all parties to cooperate and hand over power peacefully and immediately, confirming that the UN will do what is possible to make this happen.
“We visited Tripoli to show to the world and all Libyans that the UN fully supports the Presidential Council of the GNA, headed by Fayez Al-Serraj.
