Kobler calls off visit to Tripoli, no reasons given
UN delegate to Libya, Martin Kobler, said he had to cancel his visit to Tripoli without saying what the reasons were.
Kobler clarified Wednesday morning on his Twitter account that the UNSMIL was intending to pave the way for the Presidential Council to enter the capital.
The UNSMIL head, Kobler, added the UNSMIL has the right to go to Tripoli at this time.
On Tuesday, the GNC President, Nuri Abu Sahmain, said the Salvation Government agreed on Kobler’s visit to Tripoli to meet the SG Prime Minister, Al-Ghweil.
