J&C party leader says “Skhirat agreement” gives guarantees to all those involved in fighting
Libya News
The chairman of Justice and Construction party in Libya, Mohamed Sawan, said the UN-brokered agreement signed in Skhirat has many guarantees to all sides.
“Even if it does not achieve all the objectives of each side, yet it does, relatively, provide guarantees to achieve the values of the revolution. Such as rejecting dictatorship and military coups, and guarantee immunity for warring sides, except those who committed human rights violations.”
Speaking on those who rejected the UN-brokered Skhirat agreement, Mr. Sawan said that Libya is a member in the United Nations and it is natural that UN sponsor this dialogue.
“We, at the party, believe the UN-sponsored dialogue is the right thing for Libya’s sovereignty than to be sponsored by one individual state.”
