Italy’s ambassador meets HoR Speaker in Tobruk for political discussions
The Italian ambassador in Libya, Giuseppe Perrone, has arrived in Tobruk to meet with the House of Representatives’ Speaker, Aguilah Saleh, to discuss the current political affairs in the country.
The Italian ambassador arrived in Tobruk to meet with Saleh and discuss the current political status quo in Libya, according to the media office of the HoR.
Italy has earlier offered to open a consulate in eastern Libya.
Italy was the first to reopen its embassy in Tripoli after three years of shutdown since 2014 clashes that took place in the capital.
Earlier this month, Italian embassy has started to issue visas for Libyans since April 02 as it announced many times before, adding that the costs inferred on the procedures will be LYD590.
