ISIS attack on security checkpoint kills four in western Libya
An ISIS armed attack on Wadi Kaam security checkpoint between the western cities of Zletin and Al-Khums killed four personnel and sent three others to the intensive care unit, according to local media.
The attack that took place on Thursday morning targeted Al-Sahel Security Force that is securing the area, according to the sources.
Security sources also told local media in Libya that the attack was not carried out by a car bomb but using weapons.
Zliten was once targeted by ISIS when over 50 police recruits were killed as a truck exploded inside their training camp back in 2016.
