Interior Ministry declares emergency measures across Libya

The Libyan Ministry of Interior has announced a nationwide state of emergency across all security directorates and agencies in anticipation of severe weather conditions.

The ministry has coordinated emergency preparations with the Ambulance and Emergency Department, Emergency Medicine and Support Centre, Red Crescent, and regional public service companies. All organisations have been placed on maximum alert to respond to potential emergencies.

Officials have cautioned the public to exercise vigilance, particularly avoiding rainwater drainage areas and low-lying regions. The ministry emphasised the importance of following safety guidance issued by competent authorities.

The ministry confirmed it would maintain continuous monitoring of developments and provide regular updates to ensure public safety.
