High Council of State urges Haftar to release kidnapped member in Qasir Benghashir
The member of the High Council of State (HCS) Mohammed Abu Ghamja was abducted on Friday from his house and his whereabouts are still unknown, according to a statement by the HCS.
The HCS called on Saturday for the release of the member who was kidnapped by gunmen loyal to Khalifa Haftar’s forces in Qasir Benghashir, where he lives.
Haftar’s forces have been arresting opponents and rejectors of their military operations outside Tripoli and other cities since the start of war on April 04.
Saad Al-Fakhiri – the Head of the Oil Workers’ Union – is another example for the kidnapping acts of Haftar’s forces. The National Oil Corporation issued a statement urging Haftar’s forces to release Al-Fakhiri.
