High Council of State elects new President Khalid Al-Mishri
Khalid Al-Mishri wins President of High Council of State with 64 votes against Abdelrahman Al-Sweihli who got 45 votes only.
The election session was held at Radisson Blu Hotel in Tripoli on Saturday.
The winning took place in the second round of the voting as the first round, which had four candidates, ended with two candidates, Al-Sweihli and Al-Mishri.
Al-Mishri is the candidate of the Justice and Construction Party at the HCS, which is the Muslim Brotherhood branch in Libya.
