Head of the Presidential Council meets with the President of the European Council in Abidjan
The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Faiz Al Sarraj discussed with the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk a number of files, including developments in the political and economic situation in Libya.
Al Sarraj and Tusk met on the sidelines of the European-African Summit, which took place in the Ivory Coast capital, Abidjan. The president of European Council reiterated EU’s support for the Government of National Accord (GNA), stressing the confidence of the Union in the efforts of the PC for reunification and stability in Libya.
In addition, the two men talked about joint coordination programs in the face of illegal immigration and smuggling.
