GNA denounces assassination of “Mohammed Kari”
The GNA’s interior ministry has strongly condemned the assassination of the director of Murzuq security department, Brigadier General Mohammed Kari, how was killed by an outlaw armed group, according to the ministry.
In a statement read on Thursday, the ministry confirmed that it will never stand idly by towards such crimes that undermining the stability and security of the country, assuring that, it will pursue the perpetrators and put them on trial.
“The ministry denounces this criminal offence that targets the security and police personnel, and state’s institutions” it adds.
The ministry expresses its condolences and sympathies with the families of the victim, and regrets of such cowardly incidents, it added.
It is noted that Murzuq town has recently witnessed fierce attack carried out by Haftar’s Forces when they tried forcibly enter the town, and repulsed by local armed groups, dozens have been killed and the town suffers many humanitarian disasters.
