GNA Defence Ministry’s spokesman: Haftar’s doom is looming
The spokesman of the Defence Ministry of the Government of National Accord (GNA) Muhammed Al-Ghasri, has said that the doom of the leader of Operation Dignity in eastern Libya has become very discernible.
Al-Ghasri told Arabi21 that the end of Haftar has already started in the fight that is taking place in southern Libya.
“International intervention forces will soon carry out airstrikes targeting Haftar’s warplanes and forces in southern Libya.” Al-Ghasri disclosed.
He added that the GNA has called for a no-fly zone in southern Libya and also called for stopping those forces who are trying, in vain, to destroy the country.
“The truce reached in the southern region will never hold as Haftar will soon violate it because he wants to create chaos in the country. However, our forces are in there to deter him.” Al-Ghasri explained.
The international community will only recognise the GNA and its forces as the legitimate body in Libya, that is why it will be against Haftar and his militias.
