Former Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zidan arrested in Tripoli
Sources from the Interior Ministry of the Government of National Accord (GNA) confirmed arresting the former Libyan Prime Minister, Ali Zidan, in Tripoli.
According to the source, Zidan was arrested from Victoria Hotel in Dahra, Tripoli, where he was received by the Presidential Council, which asked him to stay there.
Zidan has been away from Libya – in Germany as he has dual citizenship – for three years.
According to the sources, Zidan is wanted by the Tripoli Attorney General and the arrest is made because of that.
